Just hanging out today, waiting for Qwest to come heal the internet connection. Hours were spent yesterday clearing and cleaning a pathway to the computer area so they wouldn't think they were in the home of hoarders.
I don't know about any creative stitching today, but I do feel like unstitching. I love this botanical print curtain valance from Goodwill, and there must be at least 10" of cloth in the hems that need to be released. The plan for the day is to follow the heart, not the head.
Heart over head -- a good way to hang out.
I was hanging out waiting for the bricklayer to come (but he just had to cancel for a family emergency). So now I am just hanging out waiting for my son to come home! No un-stitching to do, but weeding is sort of like un-planting, yes?
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful picture with the blues. It makes me feel very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteWhat tarot deck is that card out of? I love the "suspended person" rather than the "hanged man". I did a google search and there is more than one herbal deck available.
Yes, I would be thought of as hoarder too! Hee Hee.
ReplyDeleteThat fabric was a great find. Look froward to where it will go.
Following your heart is a good thing... <3
ReplyDeleteDon't you love how having company makes us organize/clean things we would otherwise live with.
Nothing like company to keep us on our toes! lol!
Hope your day is lovely!
Jo -- I've never thought of weeding like that. Good one!
ReplyDeleteKathy, I love this particular card, too -- both the meaning and the illustration. These are the Herbal Tarot by Michael Tierra and Candice Cantin, the 1988 version. Wow, they're really pretty old! I'm not sure if they changed them as they were reprinted over the years, or not...
ReplyDeleteNancy, you gotta have stash, right? In some eyes, that can look a "little funny" -- ha. I don't know what I'll do with this fabric yet, but it's just so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteMarie, oh for sure. That's the only real motivation I have to pick up/clean. I don't really care that much if it's just me and my family...we're all so used to it, I guess. Sure feels good though!
