take it further: knitting

Day 2...break knitting inertia

This morning I worked on one of several languishing knitting projects, a soft basket from More Last-Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson. Techno met handmade. I forget knitting terms and always need to look things up. Sitting with the ipad made this so easy to get going. The instructions to Cable CO threw me. Threw me off the project completely, sometimes one little unknown brings things to a complete halt. So I looked it up. A turning row, never heard of it before, but there it was. Then there was slip 1, is it purlwise or knitwise? Easy to find that one, too, it's purlwise.

This soft green basket is growing -- I'm taking it further, in sync with the moon as she grows into her fullness.

I, too, like this "take it further" half moon week. I'm a day late, but I'll make my list and see if perhaps I only have 4 things!

Jo, oh good! I'm thinking this may be a regular waxing half-moon practice for me. I'll see how it goes, if I can noticeably tap into this moon energy...

Hi,
A little off topic here, but can you tell me about your keyboard? Brand, wireless, etc. And how is your Ipad tilted also.
I would love to have these to go with my Ipad.
Thank you
Susan

wonderful, jo! and such a brilliant idea to tap into the waxing moon energy this way! sometimes i think i've lost touch with some of the moon's rhythms lately. perhaps i need to be more aware...and to harness those tidal energies in positive and productive ways as you have! thank you! and wonderful work on that basket!

Wonderful colour. Tuesday I completed a baby blanket project. Oh yes, very happy with myself...at last!

Susan, that's apple's cover that folds up to be a stand and the wireless keyboard is apple, too -- I'm happy with both....

Thank you, Joe! You know, I think we all connect with her energy, whether we're conscious of it or not...

Trish, that's great--what a good feeling! Yay, and I'm coming over to see you now....
