It reminds me of my grandmother, who always had a new bundle of it in the house! My husband kept asking me to get rid of it, all summer long, but I resisted - and I'm glad I did! Your arrangement is beautiful - and I LOVE your carrots. I'll be interested to know what you decide to do with them.

xxooJudyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04787074582148834510noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3382541836368981865.post-46904981471943038462012-12-12T17:58:50.130-07:002012-12-12T17:58:50.130-07:00ooh I love the lights, the pentangle and the dried...ooh I love the lights, the pentangle and the dried plants... I'm going to have to get a bit more creative. The purple carrots are yummy. Didn't think about the carrot itself leaving color on cloth, the carrot tops are an incredible yellow. I also love your star pot. So festive! I need to plant lunaria next year. I love the seed heads?, what does one call seed pods like that? Wishing you a beautiful weekend. (I'd use the carrots for dyeing. You can always eat the orange ones.)Jeanniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11367949314724875797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3382541836368981865.post-52151827257199948282012-12-07T10:58:00.486-07:002012-12-07T10:58:00.486-07:00What a fabulous pot with the star, lights and gree...What a fabulous pot with the star, lights and greenery!
So festive and cheerful! by day or night :)
The earth is changing so fast, is'nt it?
Happy weekend xoxo <3Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14759831735033471810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3382541836368981865.post-34890033318723117332012-12-07T08:10:30.357-07:002012-12-07T08:10:30.357-07:00Love the lights in with your lunaria branches, the...Love the lights in with your lunaria branches, they glow like the moon. You've grown your own. They arent quite as dark as some I've seen, but definately the same variety (they do give off a reddish tinge). Cant wait to see what you do with them. I've had them raw in salad, they were yummy!

Sending Christmas Cheer,

Jacky xoxJackyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07347191565099767347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3382541836368981865.post-24945371729516192582012-12-06T22:25:26.322-07:002012-12-06T22:25:26.322-07:00I've got carrots in the garden too I'd bet...I've got carrots in the garden too I'd better dig up - before it gets cold this weekend.
