sewing bee

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who needed to do something with my hands as the sad events of the week unfolded. Five puffs up there for the beekeeper's quilt. Speaking of bees, I just discovered a gem -- The Great British Sewing Bee, a home sewing reality/competition series. I love this kind of stuff and if you need an escape, it will do the job. There are three episodes so far on YouTube.

And I love that bee puff!
That was a truly appalling event and I cant imagine how folks are feeling that saw or were involved in any way.
Such a wicked act with such devastating consequences.
My heart goes out to them.....

I didn't know about that show either - will have to check it out.

I've never done the duplicate stitch, but with two small grands, I'll probably be doing it before long, as I embellish their little sweaters.
