i needed this cloth

I thought I needed energizing. I thought I needed enthusiasm. I thought I needed red, orange, and yellow. But all I really needed was to simply unroll what was right in front of me the whole time. And my stones from North Dakota. And some salty peanut jalapeno chocolate.

I hope you find what you need right in front of you this weekend. I'll be here stitching. xo

  2. The universe usually gives us what we need whether we know it or not. Don't you think? I would like a piece of that chocolate please!

  3. Beautiful, soft colors woven into a gorgeous cloth. Just don't let the chocolate melt onto the cloth. ;) (Well, maybe that wouldn't be a bad thing. I have always been fond of soft pink and apricot and chocolate brown.) Wishing you a serene weekend.

  7. Sometimes we just need to feel close and comforted by those we love...the stones are beautiful objects to hold memories. I have always felt soothed by soft pinks and beige's. To me they evoke a peaceful feeling.
    Chocolate...a girl's best friend :)
I wish you a peaceful happy weekend.

  10. so wonderful to read this post after blogging just a short while ago today about finding what we need right in front of us...though not in these exact words, it was the essence of my post.

this cloth is lovely! i am not usually drawn to soft, muted tones, but this cloth draws me in and surrounds me with warmth. beautiful!
