pompom pisces moonday

It's done and I like it. This will be the last I write about the new pillow cover. Either my camera has something askew or my eyeglasses are too scratched up, but the photos aren't looking clear and crisp to me today.

Today is a waning moonday in Pisces. If you're feeling ultra-sensitive, you may be subject to the influence of watery Pisces. If you're feeling compassionate, same. If you're able to see a different point of view or change your mind about something, same. Boundaries can be fuzzy -- might my camera (my fourth eye) be influenced by Pisces?

Pisces is considered a mutable sign -- that is, it helps us to adapt to and better tolerate change -- and we may feel like retreating into private space as part of this process.

In the garden, Pisces affects root growth. In the human body, it affects our feet, from which I always envision invisible roots sinking into the Earth. Foot problems may be more easily aggravated now while at the same time, steps toward healing might be more effective.

I've been wanting to stitch a foot to go with the green hand. Maybe a blue foot. With roots.

Are you feeling Pisces?

    1. Hi Deanna, you definitely received a gift. :-)
Thanks, thought I'd use the calendar cloth on my projects to sort of mark the month they were worked on. The year doesn't matter to me as much as the season...

    1. Robyn, thank you so much -- I've had that calendar cloth for a l-o-n-g time so it was fun to find a use for it that actually meant something!

  8. Loving the fabric you chose for the pillow...some of my favorite colors, and the pom poms are the perfect touch.
Love the little calendar on the backside to "mark time."

The pictures look fine, not fuzzy : )
I feel overwhelmed by everything....not sure if this is just me or Pisces???

    1. Hi Marie, thank you! Yes, to mark time is it exactly. Well, I still think the top photo isn't clear but maybe it's just the way the flowery design looks in a photo. How you were feeling could've been Pisces because while we're open, we also want to retreat -- two different energies at play. Yes, that could be overwhelming all right. ;-)

  9. Your cutting of the calendar inspired me to order a cheap one to scissor and create something anew from the pieces. . . Yes; I have been retreating (and also feeling overwhelmed). . .

    1. Chris, that's so cool, I can't wait to see what you create. One calendar can go a long way and is so versatile, I love them so much. Where did you get yours?

A Piscean retreat for all of us, yes!

    2. I just Googled "linen calendars" and chose the cheapest one (because I am only interested in cutting out the little months)----at Miles Kimball----and it's already in the mail for me. Of course, my grandmother (and likely my mom) had lots of these around and they're probably relatively easy to get here and there, but in my isolation, I took the easy way out.
